Hamilton and Miguel are best friends and will be adopted together. And, they're really good boys...and they're rats. But don't let that deter you. Unlike their wild cousin, they do well in a caged environment, are quite clean, and are easy to care for. In fact, they would make perfect first pets for children because unlike gerbils and mice, for example, domestic rats rarely ever nibble at little fingers. Hamilton and Miguel are intelligent and have lots of personality, though Hamilton is a little more outgoing than his friend. They will make great companions and will be quite happy snoozing on your lap or watching the world from your shoulder. The more you interact with them the more you'll discover their inner, individual personalities. An adventure anyone would be delighted to experience, but especially children.
